 Freshwater Fish

Cichlids and basic plecos

Cichlids come in a variety of striking colors and types, growing anywhere between 2 inches and 3 feet! They are commonly kept due to their active natures and vibrant colorations, and can be kept with a wide number of other similarly sized freshwater fish!

Guppies

The staple of a freshwater tank, guppies come in a rainbow of colors. They are active schooling fish that will quickly make their way into your heart, as they are quite playful and intelligent, often forming little communities of personalities. Some will even let you pet them once they get to know you! They can also be housed with many freshwater fish types, offering an active part of your aquatic ecosystem.

Discus fish and tetras

Discus fish are amazing to watch, coming in strange shapes and vibrant patterns of color. They can grow to be quite large and will often school together in hypnotic patterns. They can be kept with many other kinds of freshwater fish and offer a truly beautiful focal point for any aquarium.

Angelfish (can be kept with anything)

Angelfish take freshwater tanks to the next level. Their arrowhead bodies and thin trailing fins come in a kaleidoscope of coloration and their active nature brings any tank to life. They grow to be about 6 inches depending on their type and can be housed with many other essential tank mates. Coupled with a thick planted tank they can offer a unique view into another world!

 Saltwater Fish

Clownfish, gobies, and tangs

Clownfish are the most commonly kept oceanic fish in the hobby, and with good reason! They are easier to keep, active, and even playful with their owners, developing adorable personalities. They are docile and can live with many varieties of other similarly-sized fish and invertebrates like shrimp and snails.

Eels, tangs, and wrasses

Many eels are notorious for their difficulty living with smaller fish, but certain types like snowflake eels or morays can be kept with a wide variety of invertebrates and larger fish. For the hobbyist wanting to take the next step, eels can be a hypnotic and gorgeous addition to any lobby or showroom!

Lionfish, tangs, and angelfish

Lionfish are strikingly alien, and few other fish come close to their stunning displays. We offer custom tanks designed around your centerpiece fish as well as selections of habitable tank mates like tangs or angelfish. Shrimp, crabs, and snails (can go with anything but aggressive fish and some eels)

Shrimps and snails (go with anything)

The backbone of a healthy tank, invertebrates like crabs, snails, and shrimp are essential for a clean and sustainable ecosystem. They come in a dazzling array of shapes and colors, and will be certain to liven up the normally static floor of any aquarium whether it be freshwater or saltwater.

Pufferfish (can go with similar sized fish)

Pufferfish are adorably unique with their large eyes and smiling beaks. They can be kept with a wide variety of similarly sized fish. They commonly eat hard-shelled invertebrates but avoid tank mates larger than they can swallow, allowing for a wide selection of fish to be housed with them like tangs or angelfish.
